I grew up in a home filled with music, art, and animals. When I started to school at Utah Valley University in 2007, I didn’t know I would be a photographer, let alone photographing dogs. As my education continued, I switched from graphic design to photography. I originally planned to be a portrait photographer (which I still enjoy photographing a good wedding from time to time!) However, I secretly loved to photograph my dog, Charlie. I was too afraid to show any of these photographs in my classes. It was well known – you should not photograph dogs! The first photograph of Charlie I was brave enough to show changed everything. I could not believe how much people loved it! I instantly knew I needed to photograph dogs. I needed to help other people understand what made ALL dogs so amazing.
